India's agriculture heavily relies on monsoons for natural irrigation, and pumps are used as an alternative means to provide water. However, farmers face economic stress and delays due to dependence on grid electricity or diesel gen-sets to operate the pump. Therefore, the Solar Water Pump serves as an effective irrigation system, ensuring a consistent supply of water to fields, increasing crop yields, and benefiting farmers.

The Solar Water Pump utilizes photovoltaic technology to convert solar energy into electricity, replacing unreliable grid power and polluting diesel-powered versions. Powered by solar modules, the pump draws surface or ground water for irrigation.

Hindsun provides both DC and AC Solar Water Pumps in Surface and Submersible categories. This reduces farmers' dependence on costly fuels and maintenance expenses compared to traditional irrigation systems.

Switching to Hindsun Solar Water Pumps provides farmers with a reliable power source, delivering a consistent water supply throughout the day. With over 85,000 pumps installed across India to date, our objective is to ensure water security and financial stability for all Indian farmers.

PM-KUSUM SCHEME

Bringing the government's premier program to farmers across the nation

The Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) has initiated the PM-KUSUM (Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan) Scheme to establish discounted solar pumps and distributed solar power plants throughout the country. This program is a monumental effort to deliver renewable energy to over 3.5 million farmers in India, making it one of the largest undertakings of its kind globally.

Hindsun Power is delighted to be an empanelled agency under the PM-KUSUM scheme, helping Indian farmers with their irrigation needs even in the most remote corners of the country and assuring them a steady income at all times.
